Under Moffat’s watch the Doctor has morphed from an alien who loves humans and feels their pain and experiences love and desire and empathy to a stunted, child-like and extremely bloody irritating space-goon who flaps about like an injured moth when other people’s emotions are making him uncomfortable. And makes sexist jokes about how women are scary. And wants his married companions to sleep in bunk beds. And can save human lives but does not seem to understand human feelings. Who would travel with this man? He might be zany and charming and have nice boots, but he is fundamentally cold and unrelatable.

I can’t wait for the day that people understand that shit like this is plausible because the people running the show are douchebags, so bitching at us for not looking up sources is kindof stupid. Because assholes. Mainly Moffat. Because Moffat is a dick.
Should we check our sources? Yeah. Is it okay to yell at us for not doing so? Not really. Because this bullshit is more than plausible, it’s amazing that it hasn’t happened yet.

I don’t want you to go near the Doctor’s name with a thousand-foot pole. Mostly because I’m sick and tired of what you’ve done to the show already, not to mention that you’re on Doctor 11 and this shouldn’t be revealed until 13, because we’ve spent 50 years building up to this point. I haven’t been able to watch much of the new seasons, because how you handle women and many other things leaves a nasty taste in my mouth.

Guys, just take a moment to actually listen to the lyrics of Florence and the Machine’s “Blinding” and study the implications it has when linked with Doctor Who in general. (And listen to this wonderful mashup while you’re at it.) I can’t believe I never thought of this before. I almost wish I’d never made the connection now, though, because fucking OW.

This is a mash-up I did of Florence + The Machine’s “Blinding” from the album “Lungs” and the theme and sound clips from Doctor Who, specifically the episode “Blink.” This song always reminds me of the Weeping Angels and it turns out the Doctor Who theme and “Blinding” are in the same key. So why not? Let me know what you think. :)
