It isn’t truly a convention day until I’ve spent the night feverishly sewing and have tons of pinpricks. ;;; That said, I’ll be a godtier Jane with embroidery and green stripes, so see you there!

So I’m at a friend’s house using the internet, and I had intended to go home a few hours ago. 

But it’s raining really, really hard, and lightening, and thunder, and???

Jfc why did I think embroidery was a thing I should do??? It doesn’t look good ahhh ;_; bluhhh I’ll work it out somehow.

Quick, cosplay friends- should I put some green fabric on the backside of the tunic of the maid of life cosplay? The normal grey-tan of that tail-thing would be visible from the back, but the green would be visible from the front a little bit.

The green’s a little brighter than I’d like. :C I still have to add the life symbol out of that fabric. But I do plan on making a little green bow for the hood too, and am working on the embroidery now. I wanna stand out a little from the other Janes at AB! XD (Also, I cut and hand-stitched this whole outfit yesterday and just gotta decorate it now aahhhh).

But yeah, should I do that with the green fabric?

Does anyone else experience certain sounds, tastes, and sights in interesting ways? I don’t have synesthesia, but my brain does odd things sometimes.

Like that previous post- I experience certain flavors as echoes, sometimes. Like there’s this overarching surface flavor of the cookie with high spires of chocolate, and underneath is a cavern that echoes with the vanilla? IDEK man, my brain’s weird. Any dark flavor like maple syrup or something does that for me. Tiramisu is like the grand canyon.

I also tend to think about texts in terms of their denseness? Like, a children’s book is like making your way through a just-planted area with baby trees. A tough novel is like trying to find a path in a dense forest- and subtext and stuff is the debris. Like a really light pancake vs. a chunk of thick fudge? I get them in textures, sometimes. (I can also remember where info is in a textbook by how the paragraphs looked on the page, but that’s another thing entirely.)

Sounds are really interesting and evoke certain images. Sopranos are usually thin gold wire, and any low sound is like thick chunks of welded scrap? And if there’s a harmony, they all weave together and junk, and dive or twist up accordingly.

I honestly don’t know. I’m just babbling and was wondering if anyone else associated things with their senses. ;;;

I really, really want to get a jump-start on my packing, since I really want to be totally packed and be able to maybe move a few boxes to Drake’s by Friday-but my roomie’s here, and for some reason I don’t feel comfortable packing with her in the room? ;_;

can we judge actors by the quality of their personalities and acting abilities and not by the roles they’ve played, appearances, level of popularity, or fanbase? ESPECIALLY fanbase.

For example, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, and Robert Pattinson are all pretty great personality-wise and are all very talented actors. However, people tend to get fixated on any of the above things and are really disdainful as a result, and it’s slightly upsetting.

I’m glad they all have a shitton of fans, but so many people are getting scared off of Sherlock and other movies/shows because of the fandom. :C

Kingdom Hearts/Star Wars AU or crossover, though.

Ughhh my computer is doing the super-annoying thing where the colors get all bizarre for hours at a time and I have to pray that I don’t need to do anything color-sensative. Like right now, I literally can’t see any of the buttons on here except for the Publish button. T: Some colors get super bright and others stay the same. I have no idea why this happens. 

Professor it suuuure would’ve been nice of you to actually tell me what you wanted from my final paper hahaha
